How Do I Get To Center Of Joy?
Liberia International Airport is the closest airport. From there, it takes about an hour’s drive. Center of Joy will arrange transportation or a pick up.
Where Can I Stay? What Kind Of Eating Options Are There?
For lodging, the Santarena Hotel has 45 rooms, or you can rent a villa, flat, or studio apartment. Contact BeJoy@centerofjoy.com for rental information. For dining, a variety or restaurants serve varied cuisines with an ocean view. The Beach Club is a private bar and restaurant; nonmembers can dine for an additional fee. Copper & Stone is a gourmet market where you’ll find all kinds of fresh food and takeout.

When Is The Center Open?
Our hours currently are 8am - 5pm M-F and will be expanding soon to be open on weekends. Retreats and workshops schedule their own hours.
What Type Of Facilities Do You Have?
Center of Joy is 9,300 square feet. A spacious ground floor is a community space open to anyone to drop in, explore, and relax. A custom-built sound studio houses a collection of instruments used in guided sound-healing sessions. Treatment rooms are available for massage, chiropractic sessions, energy work (such as Reiki), acupuncture, and other therapies. The top floor features 1,500 square feet of open space for retreats, workshops, and groups.
What Languages Are Spoken?
Most of the staff is fluent in both English and Spanish.
Is The Center Wheelchair Accessible?
Yes, we have an entrance ramp and elevator.
How Does The Pricing Work?
People are welcome to come hang out on the first floor of Center of Joy for free to socialize with friends or read a book. Workshops, classes, treatments, and other activities all have fees.
How to Prepare for your Treatment
Center of Joy provides a safe and nurturing environment for our guests to receive services. Private treatment sessions start with a brief consultation for the therapist to discern how best to guide the session.
Beyond the skills and abilities of our healing practitioners, there are some elements of the experience that are subject to individual preferences. This is your time and we strive to make you as comfortable as possible. Please tell us if you have a request to feel more comfortable or if anything is not to your liking.
Refund policy / Cancelation policy
A refund can be made if appointments are canceled with more than 24 hours notice. Any cancellations less than 24 hours in advance will be charged the full amount.
Daycare
Las Catalinas is fortunate to have Elif Academy as part of our commercial community. Elif Academy is a bilingual Preschool and Kid’s Club modeled after three educational styles; Montessori, HRWT, and Bridges. Elif can also arrange for in-home daycare and nanny services.
